Cresskill Performing Arts is proud to bring an expanded schedule, state-of-the-art studios and expert teachers to the Northern Valley! We offer all kinds of dance classes, from ballet to modern to hip-hop and everything in between, for ages 2-1/2 through adults. We also feature acting and improvisation classes, on camera technique, voice lessons and arts and crafts classes. Our studio is a positive, non-competitive environment for all, including those with special needs. We support each student's unique talents, believing that each individual has something wonderful to contribute. This attitude creates positive energy and self-esteem. Our performance opportunities include a work-in-progress show before the holiday break as well as our spring recitals. We also have both a Junior Company and our Cresskill Performing Arts Dance Troupe, who do charity and fundraising performances throughout the school year.

Early Childhood Programs include the Leonard & Syril Rubin Nursery School, an innovative program for children, age two to four, featuring socializing, cognitive readiness skills, swim, gym, music, art, Judaics, dramatic play, science cooking and baking, Israeli culture, holiday celebrations and nature programs with the Tenafly Nature Center. N.J. State certified teachers work in a welcoming environment, with small staff-student ratios, in large cheerful classrooms with access to playgrounds, gyms and junior pools with experienced aquatics staff. Full-time nurse on premises. The JCC also features Day Care, Kindergarten, mini-camps and Parenting Center programs for toddlers and moms. Dr. Thomas Hafner is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. He was a clinical instructor for seven years at Bergen Community School of Dental Hygiene. He was in practice with his late father for thirteen years, and Holistic dentistry was a hallmark of the practice years before it became popular. Dr. Hafner has continued the concentration on Holistic dental work. As a practitioner of Holistic dentistry, Dr. Hafner performs evaluations with each patient before work begins to determine whether there are sensitivities to either materials or procedures. This allows patients to customize their treatments.
