Summer Film Festival
David Schwalbe of Englewood Public Library hosts a free Wednesday night film series. Before each film’s 7:30 p.m. start, Schwalbe presents a short commentary about the movie. Those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Englewood Public Library is located at 31 Engle St., Englewood.

Movies Under the Stars
In times of economic turmoil, why not forget your troubles by going to a movie about the Great Depression? This year, the Fort Lee Film Commission’s summer series presents films produced or set in the 1930s. Screenings are Wednesday nights at Constitution Park, Linwood Avenue in Fort Lee. Trivia and contests begin at 7:30 p.m., with films shown at sunset. Bring blankets and lawn chairs, as well as canned goods to donate to the Fort Lee Food Bank.
