Railroad speeders showcased at Maywood Station Museum open house
The Maywood Station Museum held an open house on Sunday, June 28. The open house featured a special display of Maywood artifacts in the museum and a display of vintage railroad speeders on the railroad tracks outside the station, which were courtesy of the North American Railcar Operators Association, who were conducting a trip on the New York, Susquehanna & Western Railway.

During the open house, Deborah Veach, former Teaneck councilwoman and current Teaneck prosecutor, presented Maywood Station Historical Committee Chairman Ed Kaminski with a New Jersey Senate Resolution on behalf of Senator Loretta Weinberg. The resolution was presented in recognition of the Maywood Station Historical Committee's work in having New York, Susquehanna & Western Locomotive #206, which was placed on the State of New Jersey Historical Register this past week.
