Take a Bite Out of Broadway
Bergen County Theater Department presents Children of Eden Feb. 26 and 27
Written by Stephen Schwartz, composer of Wicked, Pippin and Godspell, Children of Eden is a pop-Broadway retelling of the first nine books of Genesis, from the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to Noah and the Ark.
Rather than looking at the stories from a strictly religious standpoint, the show examines the relationships between parents and children. The story also celebrates the connection between all people.
The play will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb 27 at the Bergen County Academies Auditorium, 200 Hackensack Ave. Tickets are on sale at the door: adults, $15; students and senior citizens, $12.
For more information or to make a phone reservation, call the BCA Theatre Department at (201) 343-6000 ext. 2300.
